A lot of the masonry in Compton is older than the people living with it, and much of it is worth saving. Brick porches, chimney stacks and low garden walls from the twenties and thirties are usually structurally fine with mortar that has simply run out of life. Older concrete steps and porches are worth a second look before anyone condemns them. A porch with a spalled top surface and sound structure underneath can often be resurfaced or have new treads cast over it, at a fraction of the cost of demolition and replacement. We will tell you honestly which one you have got, and we would rather do the smaller job well and be called back for the driveway next year.

Everything gets quoted in writing before work starts, and the number we give you is the number you pay unless you change the scope.
