About Masonry Long Beach

Who We Are

Masonry Long Beach has been laying brick, block, stone and concrete around the harbor since 2009. It started as two masons and a truck taking on garden walls and driveway replacements in Bixby Knolls, and it grew the way trade businesses do when the work holds up: one neighbour recommending another. Today we run several crews across Long Beach, Signal Hill, Lakewood, Bellflower, Carson, Compton, Paramount, Cerritos and Wilmington, still doing brick masonry and retaining walls as the backbone of the business, with outdoor kitchens and fire pits and commercial masonry added as clients asked for them.

Our mission

We love this trade because it is one of the few where the work outlasts everyone involved in it. A properly built brick wall is still standing in a hundred years, and the mason who laid it is long gone. That is a good reason to get the hidden half right, and it is why we would rather lose a bid than build something we know will fail after we have been paid.

What we value

• Build the hidden half properly. Footings, compaction, steel and drainage before anything anyone will ever see.
• One flat written number. No discovering extras once the excavator is already parked in the driveway.
• Clean the site every evening. You live here while we work, and a masonry job makes enough mess without us adding to it.

Our crew

Every crew is run by a mason with fifteen or more years in the trade, most of them trained on the job in Southern California and several second-generation. Between them they have laid every material we quote: reclaimed brick, precision and split-face block, quarried flagstone, cobblestone, natural stone and cast veneer. Our foremen know how Long Beach, Signal Hill and Bellflower plan check actually behave, which is why the schedules we give you are grounded in the real permit queue rather than the optimistic version. We work with the regional block and brick yards, Belgard and Angelus paver lines, and the local quarried stone suppliers, so material lead times are ones we can actually promise.
